DO wallet is a multicurrency wallet that supports some use cases like buying gift cards, exchange options, and crypto-related news.

Design

The app has chosen to use a business-like blue as its main color throughout the app. The first thing you see when opening the app is the login page which looks like quite the mess. There are price chards of cryptocurrencies, terms of use, privacy policy, and different options to log in or take a tour. So after you logged in to the app you will have access to four different pages. Your balance/wallet, markets, news, and calculator page. All pages are styled in the same fashion as the opening of the app. Which is a classic business blue with a very messy design.

Features

When It comes to extra features (besides sending and receiving crypto) DO wallet offers the following.

  • Linking wallet to some exchanges
  • Market watch
  • Crypto-related news tap
  • Fiat to crypto calculator
  • Fingerprint login
  • Purchases of gift cards

Improvements

Like every other Wallet out there, DO mobile wallet has flaws and missing things. The flaws that we point out are of course based on my personal opinion and we would like to point out that they don’t always have to be a hindrance to anyone.

Do wallets, like some other wallets give you the option to create a Bitcoin (legacy) wallet or a Bitcoin Segwit wallet. This can be very confusing especially for starting users that have no idea what the difference between the two is.  But it would be great if they just gave the option to create a Bitcoin wallet and nothing more (preferably that this “bitcoin wallet” is a Segwit wallet for cheaper transactions). Like mentioned before, the design of the app is very messy and a cleaner design would greatly increase the user-friendliness of the app and the approach of new users.

Conclusion

The Wallet may be the right one for some more advanced traders that like the market and exchange functions within the app. But for most day-to-day users and/or starters this app would be too much and we wouldn’t recommend this to be your first wallet if you’re new to crypto. That being said the wallet scores a 2.3 out of 5 stars.

We hope you enjoyed our DO Wallet review. In case you do not agree with our opinion? You can write your own DO wallet review here! And also check out what other people think about the DO wallet.

Extra note: So always check the date of this review to see if it is relevant. Because wallets can add new functions and change designs to improve their product. So a bad review now won’t mean they can’t be great in the future.
